Although Cycle Racing requires a certain level of Fitness and Skill, the Bathurst Cycling Club (BCC) through its affiliation with AusCycling (AC) & Cycling NSW (CNSW), welcomes new members and conducts its activities with a social atmosphere to allow cyclists of all levels to participate.

The BCC regularly uses different types of races and grades in both Road and Track racing to ensure all riders enjoy their racing regardless of ability. New riders are always welcome and mentored into the club racing format.

BCC conducts its events (as opposed to Interclub and Open events) to provide Club members with the opportunity to race. Those members striving for the next level of racing may choose to race at Interclub and Open events also.

BCC Road and Track Racing is based at the Bathurst Velodrome Clubhouse, 624 Vale Road, Orton Park.

To race with the BCC riders must hold a Race All Discipline Membership with AusCycling.
